Johanna Fusco • Textile artist in Provence

Your Bespoke Artwork

Collaborating with Johanna means opening a sensitive dialogue between a space, its inhabitants, and a textile artwork conceived specifically for that place.

Every project begins with an encounter — listening to an atmosphere, a light, a story — and unfolds as a shared exploration where the artist’s language serves the soul of an environment.

Her pieces do more than inhabit a space: they reveal its depth, invite stillness, and restore a sense of unity.

More than an image, each creation acts as a threshold and a marker. It carries that vibratory quality that transforms a space into a sensory, timeless experience.

The process

1.

Initial Consultation

You reach out with a few details: the spirit of the place, the dimensions you have in mind, and what draws you to my work.
If it resonates, we arrange a conversation (email, phone, or video) to clarify the context and intention.

2.

Proposal

I propose a direction: format, presence in the space, material and rhythm cues, pricing, delivery options, and timeline. The aim isn’t to fix the work in advance, but to set a true heading.

3.

Confirmation

The commission is confirmed with a 50% deposit.
It secures studio time and allows me to source and reserve the necessary materials.

4.

Creation

I create the work in my studio. If you wish, I can share a few stages of the process to keep you informed as the project unfolds.

5.

Delivery & Installation

After approval and payment of the balance, we organise delivery on a case-by-case basis according to the format and the site. For certain pieces, an on-site installation may be appropriate so the work can find its place with precision.

Exclusivity

A one-of-a-kind piece, never reproduced — conceived as a signature artwork in intimate dialogue with your space and identity.

Quality

Precious fibres, natural dyes, and rigorous craftsmanship — ensuring authenticity, longevity, and heritage value.

A clear, seamless framework

To keep our collaboration smooth and serene, we set the terms from the outset (timeline, payment, delivery/installation). I remain available and oversee your project through to installation.
