Experience the untamed ~ Embrace the unseen

Sauvage & Beau is more than a name: it’s a philosophy, a creative tension, a balance between rawness and poetry. From this duality emerge my artworks—anchored in raw materials yet revealing the invisible, that subtle presence inhabiting space and resonating with light, soul, and time.

Here, textile art is not just something to look at—it is something to feel, to inhabit, to let resonate. An organic, timeless presence that goes beyond decoration to become a talisman, a lived experience woven into daily life.

Plant-based dyes, handspinning natural fibers, handweaving… As a French-Italian artist born and rooted in Provence, I draw inspiration from nature and the ancestral skills of my region. I reinterpret them through a contemporary lens, guided by values and aesthetics that seek connection beyond place and time.

My search is for holistic work—where meaning is not limited to visual impact but embodied in every choice made throughout the process. Materials, colors, techniques, and timing: each carries significance that extends beyond appearance. Each piece vibrates with intention, with presence—both felt and unseen. “

Cartographies Of The Invisible

There are paths the eye cannot see—traces buried beneath the fabric of the world, connecting what seems scattered. Cartographies de l’Invisible reveals the ties that bind us to the earth, to forgotten memories, to the hidden rhythms of existence.

Mindful making

I personally carry out each step of the creation process, giving every gesture the “right time”, in harmony with the seasons, light, and the textures’ dialogue. In this space of slowness and intention, the hand becomes meditative, the craft is refined, and the artistic vision is deeply inscribed in the material.

Respect for the Living World

My environmental and social commitment is inseparable from my artistic approach.

All of my materials are natural and carefully sourced, and all of my colors come from my own plant-based dyeing process.

Every choice I make is guided by the intention to minimize ecological impact and maximize positive social impact.

Heritage & Transmission

Spinning, dyeing, weaving, tapestry, felting… These ancestral techniques, deeply rooted in the history and identity of Provence, are at the heart of my practice.

I preserve them, reinterpret them, and breathe new life into them—bridging tradition and modernity.
